Why does historical balance remain the same from the initial day of import?

To have correct historical balances, up-to-date bank transactions need to be imported to CaFE. But as the screen structure for business owners is different from the one for adviser users, there is a little difference in the importing process.


For Business Owners

Go to Integration (in the header menu) -> Sync with [your accounting software] -> you will be redirected to the Integration page. Then click the Sync Now button.


You may specify the Advanced Sync option before hitting the Sync Now button if necessary.

For Advisers

Make sure you are in the client view otherwise you won’t see the Integration menu.
You can simply click a link on a client name in your dashboard or client list. Once you visit the client view, you will see the client name on the top left as below and the Integration menu should appear in the header menu. The remaining processes are the same as the ones for business owners as above.
